Bree Heffner

After twelve years of working for big and small businesses as a financial and operations manager, Bree decided to open Dog Tired Day Care. Dog Tired has been a dream since childhood, when she began volunteering as an animal handler and love-giver at local shelters. It wasn’t until a few years ago, when she began taking her dog, Jet, to another local dog day care that the dream fully took shape. Bree saw that there was room to improve the quality and convenience of service that other dog day cares were offering. Dog Tired is her answer to these needs. She hopes you agree!

Manager:
Megan Staats
Megan is there to greet parents with a smile and get their dog started on a day filled with fun and excitement. She oversees the daily facility activities and is always available to answer your questions.

Our Handlers:

All of our dog handlers are trained in animal behavior and first aid. They enjoy providing the care and loving companionship every dog receives as part of the Dog Tired experience.

Groomers:
Our groomers each have over fifteen years of experience. They are extremely talented and patient with the dogs. Please call for rates or to schedule an appointment during weekday business hours.

Trainers:

Cheri and Katie, founders of My AWESOME DOG, LLC have worked for many years with owners and their canine companions. They have had dogs of every breed, age, size and temperament in their group classes and private training.

They believe that every dog can be a wonderful companion and an awesome dog given the right positive training and commitment from their owner.
